Open Intellect Pacifist Network

The Pacifist Network · the-pacifist-network · OIPN · Open Intellect Action Network

The pacifist resistance that sheds its name and becomes a militant organization declaring war on the Syndicate.

Story so far

The Open Intellect Pacifist Network spent the crawl working against the Syndicate from the margins, and by the end of Faction Wars it has stopped pretending to be pacifist. Porthus appears on a Breaking News broadcast - filmed earlier and timed for release at this exact moment by Rosetta - to announce the formation of a new militant group that will move against all Syndicate governmental properties and systems across the known universe. The demand, stripped of diplomacy, is stop the crawl or else, with the end of the current crawl as the deadline.

York's status entry names the successor organization outright: he is now a captain in the newly coined resistance organization, the Open Intellect Action Network. Its assets are already in place - the secretly armed Homecoming Queen, working enhancement zone weapons and suits, Cronus-class Power Armor, breaching suits, and a returning cadre of crawler veterans led by Colonel Boomer. Boomer's phase two order closes the book: it is time to bring the war out of the dungeon.
