Story so far
Male Pattern Baldness is one of the achievements in Carl's backlog that grants a random non-box item rather than a prize box. He earned it for getting all his hair singed off during the previous floor's chaos, and its reward is a Head Buffing Kit.
Carl's baldness becomes a minor point of contention in the saferoom during The Ceasefire when Princess Donut demands to know what is going to be done about his hair; Mordecai, already drifting back toward his potions, answers distractedly that Carl has a Hair Tonic in his inventory.
