Armored Mage
A crawler class combining spellcasting with heavy protection; Charles Andrew was a level-58 Armored Mage.
Story so far
The class surfaces when Carl cross-references the three figures rushing into the FUPA against the Casualty Notification feed. The one on the left is a level-58 human named Charles Andrew, class Armored Mage — and he is listed as dead.
The detail matters because it tells Carl what he is about to fight: a spellcaster tough enough to matter, walking on a Gondii worm's strings. Carl kills him with fists rather than magic, punching through with a spiked gauntlet before the mage can bring anything to bear.
Role
Crawler class of the first confirmed brain-worm host inside the base.
