Casualty Notification

kill notification

System alerts that tell the crawlers instantly when one of the four required targets dies.

Story so far

Immediately after Elle kills the big naga on her way to The Throne Room, Katia gasps — she has just received a notification that he was dead. The alert lets her identify him at once as one of the four they have to kill, and reason that he must have been the head of the Naga Castle Guard.

The notification system is what lets Carl keep an exact running tally from outside the castle without line of sight, replying to Elle that three targets remain: Princess Vinata and two cousins. One of the group also blurts out excitedly that they got a notification.

Role

Real-time confirmation channel for confirmed kills against the required target list.

Relationships

Katia — Receives the notification confirming the head guard's death.
