Potion Balls

Black Potions · The Black Potion Balls

Hundreds of black potion spheres Carl loads for the temple operation, dangerous to use against gods.

Story so far

A long line of black potion balls was laid out on the kitchen table of the Saferoom when Carl transferred back, with Samantha rolling excited circles around them and Mordecai standing guard. Carl gathered them all into his inventory—hundreds of them by that point—as the assault on The Naga Castle kicked off.

Mordecai warned that they were fire to play with. Within days the crawlers would be neck deep in gods, and every deity Carl angered now would come straight for him, so Mordecai laid down a hard limit: don't use those potions on more than two of the same religion. Carl snapped that he knew how it worked, then apologized. He credited only part of the scheme to himself and asked Mordecai to thank Mistress Tiatha for the capacitor wire that went with it.

Appearance

Black spheres small enough to roll across a kitchen table, stockpiled by the hundred.

Role

The core munition of Carl's temple plan, aimed at gods rather than soldiers.

Carl — Loaded hundreds of them into his inventory for the temple operation.
