character

Ysalte

The Vinegar Bitch

The now-dead dwarven goddess of Larracos, whose rebuilt statue Carl sees moments before the city transfers.

Story so far

In the last seconds before Zerzura fired, a dwarf shouted 'Finished' at Carl's left. He had completed rebuilding the statue that had been broken in front of the castle in Larracos. The statue was of a dwarf — a goddess — and Carl remembered: Ysalte, the Vinegar Bitch, the now-dead goddess of the place, of Larracos. Paz had killed her during the fight at the end of the previous floor.

In the moment before everything flashed and disappeared, Carl's eyes focused on the giant axe over the goddess's shoulder — and realized it was a giant pickaxe.

Appearance

Rendered in stone as a dwarven woman with a giant axe over her shoulder — on closer look, a pickaxe.
