character

Glory

Syndicate Prime Minister facing a live no-confidence vote, who apparently knew about the Dream all along.

Story so far

Glory does not appear in the room, but his political survival is the news Baroness Victory and Fopsy bring back from the Syndicate Council. A no-confidence vote against him is happening right now, with a great deal of upheaval and everyone accusing everyone else of being secret Reavers agents. Asked directly by Carl whether Glory is one, Victory says he is not as far as she is aware — though Carl immediately says he does not give a shit.

The more damaging point is that Glory apparently knew about The Dream's true nature. If the vote goes a certain way, Fopsy might become Syndicate Prime Minister again in his place.

Role

The embattled Prime Minister whose no-confidence vote frames the galactic chaos behind the Louis crisis.
