Story so far

Carl explains why The Nest didn't need a sniper synergy: with her Tiara of the Elemental Alchemist's advanced targeting skills, her elevated position, and her Deathbed Hellcat class, Donut could hit anything she could see with any of her long-range spells.

All she needs is line of sight. That redundancy freed the tower's synergy for Atrocity-Class Spells instead, including her newest, War Crime — and in this chapter the combination lets her kill four Level 100 War Mages with Magic Missile before they can even arrive.
