Birth Race
Dossier field recording what a crawler was before the dungeon; Rosetta's matches her current race.
Story so far
Birth Race records what a crawler was before the crawl changed them, and appears on the dossier beside Race, Class, Top Level and Dungeon Exit. For Rosetta both entries read Crest — she was born Crest and remained Crest throughout her crawl, never taking a race change.
That continuity underlines the rest of her file: everything about her, from the world where kindness was viewed as weakness to the dangerous work of journalism she did before the dungeon, carried straight through unaltered.
Role
The dossier field distinguishing a crawler's original species from their dungeon species.
Relationships
Rosetta — Her birth race and race are both Crest.
Crest — The species recorded in both fields.
Top Level — Listed alongside it on the dossier.
