Story so far
Although the planet in the Aryl System was emptied of citizens for the Battle Royale season, the system itself was never empty. Tens of thousands of people remained aboard mining ships and mineral-reclamation vessels finishing the clean-up after the crawl, along with a team on the surface investigating why The Aryl AI had stopped speaking.
All of them vanished from contact the moment the Tunnel Node switched off. Zev says a rescue is being discussed, but with tunnel access severed and even the Borant Gate System useless, there is no way to reach them — and no way to know for three cycles whether the system's star still exists.
