Battle Royale season
The crawler-versus-crawler season format the eleventh floor pointedly is not, to Quasar's visible relief.
Story so far
When Quasar reads out the limited information on The Eleventh Floor, he notes that multiple NPC teams compete alongside the crawlers, so crawlers are not necessarily competing directly against one another - and adds that this is good, because this ain't a goddamned Battle Royale season.
The remark is the only reassurance in an otherwise ugly briefing. Don't Come in Last still strips the survival containment from whichever vehicle finishes last, but the dungeon is not, this time, setting the survivors of Faction Wars against each other directly.
Role
The season format the eleventh floor avoids, sparing crawlers a direct fight with each other.
