Butcher's Masquerade

The sixth-floor event whose final moments produced the body that saves Louis's life.

Story so far

The Butcher's Masquerade is remembered here for one specific handoff: in its last moments, Signet gave Carl the body of her mother Princess Lunette, meant one day to house Samantha.

That inheritance has sat in Carl's possession ever since, and it is what he drags onto a cot beside Louis when Mordecai needs a donor. A body preserved for a demigod's future is spent instead on an emergency naiad heart-and-lung transplant, minutes before a god burns the floor.

Role

The past event that supplied the organ donor for Louis's surgery.

Relationships
