Adrasteia was named in Khepri's boss-battle description as the deity he now serves. After Khnum mysteriously dropped dead a few days earlier — one of several deaths in that particular sub-pantheon — the weak and widely mocked Khepri was forced into another god's service in order to protect himself, and Adrasteia is that new patron.
The Announcer rated Khepri a dubious candidate to claim the Ascendent throne, but noted that Adrasteia, his boss, has an outside shot at it, placing her among the live contenders in the Ascendency Pantheon's succession scramble.
