Lucky Shot

Story so far

Lucky Shot is the benefit imbued by the Upgrade Patch from the Legendary Lucky Bitch Box. A fatal blow will be deflected into the body of a party member instead of the wearer, usable only once per floor.

Carl will not wear it. Even with Donut's Cockroach skill making a transferred death theoretically survivable, he refuses the trade, and he deliberately withholds the patch's function from the rest of the team so nobody can argue him into installing it. When Emberus later hands him an impossible choice, Carl recognizes Lucky Shot as the technical escape hatch he has and still declines it.
