Story so far

Broken and pinned outside The Nest with Mongo dying in the jaws of Gustavo 3, Carl wheezes "Wrecking Ball!" as he casts Hi-Yo Silver. The spell yanks Rend across the ridge toward him, and Rend activates Wrecking Ball as he is magically pulled in Carl's direction.

The cast lands Carl on his back with his heels on his stomach, but it works: Rend annihilates the rottweiler and stops inches from Carl's face.
