Dream Elves

the elf

Tagg's people, referred to simply as the elf when Carl decides to reopen negotiations.

Story so far

When every rule-based escape has been closed, Carl says to the group, "Let's talk to the elf again. See if he has any ideas or demands." The elf is Epitome Tagg, last of his faction and now bodiless inside Louis.

The conversation that follows produces no ideas Carl can use, only demands he cannot meet — and the accidental revelation that Tagg's picture of the world is badly out of date.

Role

Tagg's people, whose last member holds Louis hostage.
