Carl's enlistment of Prepotente, the last and most powerful crawler to join his army before the assault.

Story so far

Faction rules bar Carl from speaking freely with crawlers outside his army, so his opening line to Prepotente is that they can't talk at all unless the goat enlists. Prepotente cuts him off — "I know, Carl. I am not an imbecile. Recruit me" — and tells him to do it now, before he changes his mind, framing it as the only way to salvage the utter fuckup on Carl's end.

Carl briefly hesitates, asking if he's sure, then completes the recruitment and assigns Colonel rather than the insult of Legionnaires. It brings the dungeon's strongest crawler, level 99 and riding a level 70 Bianca, into the order of battle. Carl never has to use the Conscription potion he had ready.
