The Naga

Naga · the Naga system

Serpentine race running the ninth floor's system, notorious for changing the rules on you.

Story so far

The Naga are the species whose system governs the ninth floor, and they are the reason two of the crawl's stars are stuck there: neither Princess Donut nor Katia Grim may leave until all the Naga are dead, and even then only one of them can go.

Quasar, a professional in contracts, offers his single piece of unambiguous legal advice about them: "telling someone to sign a contract in a Naga system is terrible advice because they like to change the rules on you." Coming from a man whose other advice includes never being nice to anyone, that reads as a genuine warning about what Faction Wars is going to be.

Not described here; a serpentine race known to the crawl's audience by name and by the reputation of their legal system.
