Story so far
An accountant and survivalist married to April, Remy initially disbelieves Tracy’s warning of catastrophe and restrains April during her confrontation with her sister. He is injected while asleep and taken for cryogenic preservation.
Remy awakens beside April in a metal canister. They help each other remove their IVs and catheters, and he finds a gun and ammunition in Tracy’s trunk. A man bites off two of his fingers; Remy shoots him and then shoots a woman before she can leap at him.
Later, Remy says another group directed the couple toward the people in charge on the coast. He helps Elise butcher a deer, and he and April carry the meat to the village. After April is struck by Elise’s arrow, Remy reaches for her gun. When he reaches for it again, Elise shoots him through the heart.
