A skyfowl 8th-edition cookbook author whose entry warns — from his own costly mistake — against needlessly killing NPC shopkeepers.
Justice Light is the crawler-author of the 8th edition of the Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook, a skyfowl of the white cliffs whose people 'do not take insults without retribution.' His cautionary entry, read by Carl, recounts killing an NPC trap-supply shopkeeper on the sixth floor over an insult — only to learn shopkeepers don't drop their full inventory when killed, bringing the town guards down on him and destroying the floor's only trap shop and a supply network many crawlers relied on. His hard-won lesson: keep the killing of innocents to a minimum unless absolutely necessary — pointed guidance as Carl weighs a floor's worth of NPC deaths.
