Denise

Story so far

Denise is the Level 53 Borough Boss guarding Commandant Kane's flying house — a blood-stained white goose in a frilly blue bonnet and shawl, kept by Bonnie as a pet replacement for her lost pig. Her true identity is a horror: she is the granddaughter of Emperor Anser, plucked from the seventh floor when Anser used a magical gate to bring his people to this world, but she lingered too long in the Nothing and lost her mind. Her recently-manifested abilities make her a nightmare boss: she is an "environmental" — immune to magic AND to the crawlers' own physical attacks, vulnerable only to objects already in the house (mugs, pitchers, bricks) — and nullifies all magic near her, sinking the house's balloon when enraged.

She fires her own teeth like a shotgun and has an overwhelming urge to protect children (sparing Bonnie) and to "kill everybody, especially bitches." After a frantic no-magic, no-physical-damage timed fight, Carl finally kills her by jamming her head into the kitchen's garbage disposal, liberating the Air Quadrant.
