Anser

Emperor Anser · the entombed emperor

The long-dead emperor whose colossal necropolis is the floor's central tomb, buried with his living court and wife.

Story so far

Anser was an emperor who, upon his death, was honored with the building of the vast Necropolis of Anser — a tomb so enormous it rises like a mile-tall monolith from a desert island, capped by the domed bubble the party is trapped in. Per Morris Sp's account, when Anser died his entire court and his still-living wife were sealed inside the tomb with him. His wife, Quetzalcoatlus, became a screaming non-corporeal undead ghost still roaming the crypt.

His Crypt lies at the very bottom of the trap-maze, where the subterranean stairwell waits, and rumor holds the tomb hides the legendary Gate of the Feral Gods.

Appearance

Long dead; no living description survives, known only through his monumental tomb.

Role

The entombed emperor whose necropolis and buried treasures define the entire fifth-floor bubble.
