The vulture-crawler blasts the puppy for the bounty, shielded by his celestial robe — until Carl catches him and rips his whole arm off.
Quan Ch, the celestial-robe-wearing level-48 crawler, hunts Orthrus relentlessly for the world-quest bounty, admitting to Tran that killing Princess Donut too would be a bonus. His robe (flight, a blue lightning attack, a level-15 Shield, and hidden stat boosts) shrugs off Donut's missiles and Carl's Hobgoblin Disco Ball, though the disco-ball's sticky rainbow smoke and a bomb knock him from the sky. Recovering, he sneaks back and downs the puppy to 2%.
But after Carl summons Emberus and gains invulnerability, Quan's cowardice undoes him: he attacks the invisibly-invulnerable Carl, gets beaten bloody, and as he rockets away Carl tears his entire arm off at the shoulder — costing him three rings (Rockard's Ring of Sniping, a strength ring, and his real-world 'For Daddy' band) and, apparently, his lightning attack for good. He flees down the stairwell, now a maimed, vengeful new enemy.
A small, fast half-elf crawler in a glowing celestial robe, now missing an entire arm torn off at the shoulder, mouth bloodied and toothless.
The maimed, vengeful rival crawler who hunts the puppy and loses his arm to Carl.
