Gnomish Knock Knock

Knock-Knock · Fuel-air bomb

The gnomes' famously unstable thermobaric fuel-air bomb, a refrigerator-sized horror that implodes lungs and melts skin.

Story so far

Through the telescope Carl inspects a Gnomish Knock-Knock — a refrigerator-sized fuel-air bomb dangling from a gnome patrol drone-ship, its status a barely-stable 40. A thermobaric weapon that collapses lungs and melts flesh before its victims "shatter into mist," it was the Dirigible Gnomes' main bombardier weapon in the last war; only a few remain, strapped to their most reliable ships and detonated via an altitude-tuned pressure fuse. It was one of these that destroyed Skarn's village.

Appearance

A refrigerator-sized crude bomb slung beneath a four-propeller gnome drone-ship, precariously unstable.

Role

The gnomes' devastating, unstable signature bomb and a standoff deterrent over the quadrant.

Relationships

Dirigible Gnomes — Wield it as their signature bombardier weapon.
Skarn — One destroyed his village and killed his parents.
Wasteland Castle — Carried by the patrol ships moored to it.
