Extinction Sigil

Extinction tattoo

Carl's under-eye sigil normally charms turkeys and makes Unk Tehi deal extra damage to him, but boss rules suppress its beneficial effect.

Story so far

Carl received the tiny tattoo after eradicating a lizard species on the fourth floor. It removes hostility from that species' natural enemies, which includes turkeys.

The double boss event explicitly negates the charm, allowing Tom's flock to attack Carl and Donut. The ordinary birds remain neutral only until Idolized turns them red.

Unk Tehi Temple Guards belong to the erased lizard lineage. The sigil therefore causes those guards to inflict twenty percent more damage against Carl.

Appearance

A small extinction tattoo beneath an eye with turkey charm and hostile lizard warning symbols.

Role

The sigil reverses from passive protection to a species-specific liability during the paired fight.

Relationships

Carl — He bears the sigil.
Living Turkeys — They are normally charmed as natural enemies of the extinct lizards.
Unk Tehi Temple Guard — The guard deals increased damage because of the extinction.
Tom — His boss event negates the turkey charm.
