Tom

Bereft Shaman of Meleagris Gallopavo Rex

Tom is a level-seventy-five turkey shaman who weaponizes the flock through persistent mystics before Carl destroys him with the Daughter's Kiss.

Story so far

Tom once worshipped Wakinyan, the Great Wild Turkey, whose escape from the Nothing ended when Prepotente killed him. Sharp-Elbows later gave Tom and his purposeless congregation protection in exchange for daily sacrifice.

From the barn rafters, Tom summons a Wakinyan Temple Guard, then plays Idolized to turn every ordinary turkey hostile. His Ralphie card dispels active magic and prevents the opposing team from casting spells.

Carl breaks Tom's wing with a spiked banger sphere, but the shaman hides within the flock while maintaining both persistent mystics. Carl eventually finds him, leaps with the Daughter's Kiss, and obliterates Tom and the surrounding birds.

Tom's guard and Ralphie disappear on death. Carl inventories the mangled corpse before the collapsing barn can carry away its token.
