Each crawler squad independently classifies other squads as allies or enemies before the special battle begins.
The Survival Royale freezes action and asks Donut whether Sister Ines is allied or hostile. When crawlers mutually select alliance, card-deck use becomes optional and they can cooperate normally.
The choice is asymmetric. If one squad chooses ally while the other chooses enemy, the hostile squad receives a ten-second head start. This punishes trust and makes independent cooperation dangerous.
Carl tells Donut to select ally anyway because mutual cooperation would permit immediate teleportation out of the demon field. The system records all selections before releasing time.
Two squad emblems each choosing green alliance or red hostility, with an asymmetric ten-second timer.
The mechanic turns trust into a simultaneous prisoner's dilemma immediately before lethal action.
