Donut's First Phase-Two Battle

Miami tutorial fight

Donut faces Robert the Human alone in Miami, but Mongo kills the summoner before the planned card tutorial battle can unfold.

Story so far

After choosing Miami, Donut enters the great room of an old house and confronts level-forty Robert the Human. The system freezes both sides while an orange announcer presents a lengthy overview of card types for the audience.

Robert summons the faceless Robert the Doll and the stuffed Dog. Donut summons Geraldo with an extravagant entrance, apparently preparing for a totem engagement and trying to extend the fight.

Mongo instead launches directly at Robert and kills him. All summons disappear, the fight ends, and Donut claims the sailor hat before inspecting the available cards. She may keep all non-totem drops but would need to discard an existing totem to retain either opposing summon.

Appearance

A card battle in an old living room ending as a feathered dinosaur bypasses three summons to strike the opposing player.

Role

The fight introduces phase-two card victory and loot rules while ending Odette's private window sooner than planned.

Relationships

Princess Donut — She wins her first solo battle.

Robert the Human — He is the defeated opposing summoner.

Mongo — He ends the fight with a direct attack.

Geraldo — He is summoned but never reaches combat.
