Vorpals

Celestial guards · Divine suicide bombers

The trapped vorpals break out of their weakened chamber and kill Minge beneath the upper nightclub.

Story so far

The beings called vorpals are not one species. They are members of many races carrying a divine condition that turns them into celestial demon hunters.

Their holding room was ringed with demon traps to prevent nearby fiends from activating them. Carl's delayed automaton fails to dismantle the entire barricade, but weakens it enough for the vorpals to break through.

They announce themselves with shrieks mixed with the sound of buzzsaws. They swarm Minge from below the Penis Parade, collapse the stage, and kill the demon. Even veteran club guards consider them worse than demons.

Appearance

A mixed swarm of celestial berserkers bursting through a shattered floor with luminous teeth and buzzsaw shrieks.

Role

The vorpals are unstable celestial weapons whose demon fixation resolves the nightclub breach.

Relationships

Minge — They track, swarm, and kill the demon.
