Time-Instance Physical Rules

Altered recording interaction

Memory people pass through crawlers without losing clothing, while objects removed from the present become invisible within the recording.

Story so far

The stepmother appears in the yard after the timer begins and walks directly through Donut. Unlike ordinary memory ghosts, her clothing remains visible and attached.

She interacts with the garden even though Carl has already inventoried the pots and supplies. The retrieved morphine and other removed objects are invisible to observers, causing her to scoop, hold, and hide apparently empty space.

Inside, Carl can walk close to and through family memories but cannot touch Asher. He can still remove present-day physical objects, creating a layered scene in which recorded actions continue around missing props.

Appearance

A recorded woman walking through a cat while holding an invisible object removed from the present layer.

Role

The rules let the authentic recording continue despite Carl altering and looting its physical set.

Relationships

Princess Donut — She first notices clothing persists through overlap.
Carl's Stepmother — Her actions reveal invisible removed props.
Carl — He cannot touch Asher but can loot physical objects.
Allium Morphine Stash — The removed stash becomes invisible in the recording.
