Red-Hatted Man's Storage Tub
Sealed Shelter Bin
A signed, duct-taped shelter storage bin that Carl inventories before the marked man begins speaking.
Story so far
Every shelter resident stores belongings in a plastic tub sealed with duct tape and a signature. The red-hatted man opens his bin and briefly produces a blue shopping bag and several sugar packets before putting everything back.
While the man leaves for coffee, Carl takes the entire tub into inventory even though memory objects will normally vanish when the floor collapses. He has not yet examined its remaining contents when the man returns and addresses him.
Appearance
A scuffed plastic storage tub wrapped with signed duct-tape seals.
Role
The tub may preserve evidence or tools connected to the Residual's prepared message.
