Borant Liquidation Strategy

Post-Crawl Borant Liquidation

The Valtay plan to preserve investor confidence by claiming current profits while assigning the season's failures to the doomed Borant Corporation.

Story so far

Zev says Borant will be liquidated after the crawl regardless of the final result. Meanwhile, the Valtay have stepped back from day-to-day production after the seventh-floor collapse and the destructive end of the sixth.

Carl and Donut are generating unusually high revenue, much of it at sponsor expense. The Valtay can present that profit as evidence of their own performance while arguing that any operational disaster came from Borant's mudskipper management.

The distancing also protects the Valtay's investor story for the next crawl, which they are scheduled to run. Zev's own fate depends on unresolved conditions back home.

Appearance
