Mock Battle Difficulty

Practice Difficulty

Mock battles initially offer easy, deck-equal, and challenge opponents at escalating gold prices, with successful challenge runs unlocking additional arena options.

Story so far

The practice menu charges one thousand gold for easy, two thousand for an opponent equal to the squad's current deck, and five thousand for a challenge. Donut wants the hardest tier immediately because it promises unlocks.

Carl selects easy to verify Geraldo's behavior and the interface without exposing the squad to environmental or self-inflicted mishaps. The resulting enemies are so weak that Mongo instantly destroys the first and the second dissolves without fighting.

Appearance

Three glowing selection panels labeled easy, equal, and challenge beside increasingly large gold costs.

Role

The tiers let squads trade money and risk for progressively more useful practice conditions.

Relationships

Card Practice Arena — The arena charges according to the selected tier.
Princess Donut — She favors challenge while Carl insists on easy.
Carl — He uses the lowest tier for controlled systems testing.
