Story so far
The weapon originated in a legendary visibility-themed box awarded on the fifth floor. Jefferson is the life force of a miser cursed into a teenager's filthy coin-filled sock after angering a reforming spirit.
Swinging the sock delivers unexpectedly strong impact damage. Each kill of a mob no more than ten levels below the wielder raises damage by 1.5 percent; its current accumulated increase is 238 percent. It grants ten dexterity plus another ten percent, has a five-percent Bonked chance, and gives kills a twenty-percent chance to become gold equal to their inventory value plus ten times their level.
Carl gives it to Dong Quixote, who immediately hears and converses with Jefferson.
