Dong Quixote

The elderly stripper trades his unusable lance for the sapient nickel sock Spunky Jefferson and immediately bonds with it.

Story so far

Dong insists on dragging a huge lance because it is the only familiar weapon he can find. He once wielded it while riding Corcunda, a half-mantaur stage partner, but on foot it is dangerously impractical.

Katia persuades him to seek an alternative, and Dong asks for a one-handed flail. Carl offers Spunky Jefferson, a bloodied sock filled with nickels that functions like a flexible club.

Dong reverently calls it mythical, inventories his lance, and begins a private conversation with Jefferson about his career, earnings, and mutual funds.

Appearance

An elderly performer swinging a crusty striped sock full of coins while an oversized lance vanishes into inventory.

Role

Dong becomes wielder of the group's strange incremental-damage sapient weapon.

Relationships

Spunky Jefferson — He becomes the weapon's wielder and conversational partner.
Corcunda — The half-mantaur was his former mount and stage partner.
