The Night Wyrm is exposed as Astrid's husband and the father whom Damascus and Anaconda enter the lair to confront.
Story so far
Damascus reveals that the Night Wyrm, Astrid, Anaconda, and he form one family despite their different dungeon races. The parents remain married while serving within the dungeon system.
The Night Wyrm commissioned crawlers to kill Astrid and demanded proof through the Guild. Damascus believes his father wanted to guarantee her death so he could inherit her accumulated wealth or compensation when their promised service ends.
Damascus and Anaconda reject the mercenary evacuation, walk into the rear cubicle containing their father's lair, and intend to avenge Astrid.
Appearance
A vast wyrm hidden behind club cubicles while two differently raced sons approach through the dark.
Role
The Night Wyrm is the apparent architect and beneficiary of the family betrayal.
