Syndicate Standard Graffiti

Residual Shelter Message · Red Graffiti Instructions

An old three-sentence message hidden among shelter graffiti that identifies the red-hatted breakfast speaker.

Story so far

Carl circles Shepherd's House twice before noticing red, runny writing partially obscured by later tags. It instructs the reader to look every morning at breakfast for someone in a red flap hat and links coffee to a speech.

The wording appears mundane enough to vanish among ordinary vandalism, but it is written in Syndicate Standard rather than English. Its age and placement show that the rendezvous clue was embedded in the original location long before the current floor.

Appearance

Faded red alien-language sentences half-covered by crude tags on a graffiti-covered shelter wall.

Role

The graffiti authenticates the sponsor flyer and identifies the exact person and moment Carl must observe.

Relationships

Carl — He recognizes the language and follows the instructions.
Red-Hatted Man — It describes his daily appearance and routine.
Shepherd's House — The message is painted on the exterior wall.
Open Intellect Pacifist Network — Its flyer directs Carl to the location where this deeper clue waits.
