T'Ghee Cards

Cards · Monster Cards

T'Ghee cards are physical combat-system assets that can drop from slain monsters as well as captured ones, remain restricted to squad leaders, and interact with a resettable deck.

Story so far

When the Experience dies without being captured by a flag, combat ends, the Royal Court's deck resets, and a rare utility card appears in the corpse's inventory. The discovery proves that card acquisition is not limited to collecting monsters.

The rigid postcard-sized object bears the Syndicate government logo on its moving three-dimensional back. Carl cannot place it in his inventory because cards may only be held by the squad leader, making Donut their official custodian.

Appearance

Rigid postcard-sized cards with animated three-dimensional Syndicate designs on their backs.

Role

Cards form the collectible resources, monsters, and utilities used by the eighth floor's deck-based combat system.

Relationships

T'Ghee Squad Flags — The flags capture weakened monsters for use by the squad.
Combo — This rare utility card is the Royal Court's first observed natural card drop.
