character

Prime Minister Glory

The stressed Gleener prime minister blocks immediate system destruction because it would kill elites holding over half the galaxy's wealth.

Story so far

Glory reminds the council that faction leaders, roughly three hundred Ascendency sign-ups, his own children, Princess Formidable, and the Scolopendra Club's guests are trapped in-system.

More than half of all galactic wealth is concentrated there. Destroying it could trigger wars, famine, infrastructure collapse, and quadrillions of deaths.

He therefore supports testing the Valtay solution before considering the failsafe.

Appearance

A fish-like Gleener leader releasing stressed bubbles before a map of concentrated galactic wealth.

Role

Glory articulates the systemic cost that keeps the council from destroying the rogue AI.
