Arena of the Eulogist
Arena of the Eulogist is a practice environment styled as an immense outdoor colosseum packed with robe-clad Nebular spectators beneath a domed artificial sky.
Story so far
Donut selects the arena based on a picture of a colosseum with cheering fans. It expands beyond the original hangar, replaces the roof with a yellow artificial sun, reduces gravity, and surrounds the battlefield with thousands of Nebulars.
She cannot replace the audience species but raises its approval to maximum. The crowd cheers every environmental adjustment, then boos and roars throughout Mongo's instant destruction of the first simulated opponent.
An abandoned variant removes the spectators, cracks the overhead dome, and changes the yellow sun to blue for the Royal Court's more controlled second test.
Appearance
A colossal dirt-and-grass arena beneath a shimmering dome, ringed by thousands of robed figures in broad hats.
Role
The arena provides a spectacular but distracting first deck-combat test setting.
