Nebular Intervention

Ines Sponsor-Patron Manipulation

Carl infers that the Nebular cult has deliberately empowered Sister Ines and driven her back into dangerous religious certainty.

Story so far

Broadcast hosts previously identified the Nebulars as both Ines's sponsor and patron, responsible for raising Book of Rhymes and Word Weaver to level fifteen. After her forced flight, Ines suddenly gains greater power from demon appearances and adopts a fully apocalyptic worldview.

Carl recognizes the Nebulars as a multi-species cult devoted to the central-system intelligence. Members participated in the prior hunting grounds and targeted Prepotente before Carl and Donut helped eliminate them.

The timing and ideological alignment lead Carl to infer that the cult supplied an item, benefit, or intervention that intentionally restored Ines's instability and turned her against the final exit. The exact tool remains unknown.

Appearance

A cosmic cult emblem projecting power and doctrine into a feline nun's silhouette.

Role

The intervention explains why Ines's mental state and demon control escalate precisely when the Royal Court needs the church.

The Nebulars — The cult supplies sponsor and patron support.
Sister Ines Quiteria — She is the empowered and manipulated subject.
