Story so far
Carl and Donut enter the encounter under active Liquid Therapy, while Mongo stays stored because his dose is unfinished. The potion should prevent permanent blindness, insanity, and related fear afflictions.
Shi Maria sees or senses the protection immediately. She says it may work for Donut but compares Carl's mind to a broken window that still admits wind.
Her warning suggests the potion prevents new intact-target effects but may not seal damage or openings created by Carl's earlier experiences. She threatens to use the fifth eye to discover what is growing inside him, though she does not cast.
