Story so far

Carl climbs onto wet asphalt at the summit and receives an entry notice for Dallas County. The plateau contains farmhouses, a sparse trailer park, half a commercial farm, large sheds, and a corrugated silo.

Ocean is visible on both sides because the transplanted terrain sits atop the Florida cay. Edges continually crack and fall, while snowmelt turns the ground to mud.

Carl's farmhouse explosion destroys more terrain and creates a long fracture down the road. Later the silo falls over the cliff, electrical lines spark, and a feed pipe pours grain into the sea.

The seventh deckmaster waits by a farmhouse, while the paired eighth and ninth opponents occupy a commercial turkey barn.

Role

The summit is an unstable composite arena whose ordinary rural structures become the final token battlegrounds.
