Story so far

Li Na's team buys the only available case from a middle-floor Desperado Club vendor for Carl. Twelve mantles cost thirty thousand gold.

Carl combines four mantles with a modified stun grenade, creating a beachball-sized bomb whose red smoke immobilizes non-corporeal monsters across a broad area for up to thirty seconds.

The remaining supplies become lower-powered seeker warheads mounted on Bomo. Their effect preserves most ghommids for possible restoration rather than killing the settlement's residents.

Appearance

A compact premium smoke device that erupts into dense, swirling red clouds when modified.

The mantle enables Carl's nonlethal crowd-control plan against an entire spirit population.
