character

Pierre

Pierre the Porter · the Grapple porter

A slow-spoken quarter-giant Grapple porter who runs the yellow line's suitcase reward room.

Story so far

Pierre is a Grapple porter staffing the tenth car of the yellow line — the Tangle's reward room, where each crawler may pick one numbered suitcase per line. Princess Donut eagerly claims case eight (a decoy full of a stranger's clothes hiding useful potions) while Carl takes case one. Donut's second pick, however, proves to be a lethal Literal Fire Ants trap that incinerates the conductor Vernon.

A moon-faced, mossy-haired quarter-giant bred for servitude, Pierre speaks slowly and hands prizes through a half-door.

Appearance

An enormous, pale, moon-faced humanoid with a wide face and hair like dying moss, in a porter's suit and cap, speaking slowly in a gravelly voice.

Role

NPC reward-room porter dispensing numbered prize suitcases.

Relationships

Vernon — The conductor killed by a trapped suitcase from Pierre's room.
Princess Donut — Claims her prize case from him, to disastrous result.
