Imani · the Obsidian Butterfly

The winged healer-commander who runs the station-36 defense — building the portal-crane and negating the acid that would melt the crawlers.

Story so far

Imani is the organizational backbone of the station-36 last stand. Though wary of Carl's upside-down portal-crane scheme, she contributes the magical chain-scrolls that build it and then takes command of the chamber — barking flamethrower and mage positions, ordering a ring of defenders around the portal, and directing Elle McGib to scout the soul-crystal explosions. Her extended Obsidian-Butterfly wings brush the defenders with a constant, refreshing Constitution buff, and her negate-acid magic saves Carl, Princess Donut and Katia Grim from the caustic Krakaren blood after their choke-hall counterattack.

Steady, maternal and iron-willed, she holds the line against the self-destruct swarm.

Appearance

A crawler with large, colorful, ethereal butterfly wings that buff those they brush; calm, commanding, moving constantly among the defenders.

Role

The station-36 defense commander and healer, keeping the crawler line intact.

Relationships

Carl — Her demolition-minded co-planner, whose acid burns she repeatedly negates.
Elle McGib — Her scout and freeze-specialist, sent to check the exploded ghoul generators.
Katia Grim — Whose Crowd-Blast burns she heals after the counterattack.
