A ninja-star-throwing fox mob whose DT-stage-three form becomes an unrecognizable, tentacled, clone-bearing horror.
Story so far
The Razor Fox is a level-22 mob — normally, per the System's fond aside, a ninja-star-throwing fox (the party will meet proper ones on the fifth floor). On The Iron Tangle, though, the one Carl's crew fights has reached DT stage three, its original self erased: a hippo-sized, over-inflated horror with thrashing meaty tentacles ending in round toothed mouths, a lipless circular maw, and only a small skull visible through jelly-like transparent skin marking what it once was. Katia Grim guns it with the crossbow from her new sentinel-turret form while Carl lodges banger spheres and hob-lobbers down its throat; it bursts — not killed but HATCHED — spilling thousands of Krakaren clones.
Appearance
In its base form, a fox-like mob that throws razor stars; in DT stage three, a bloated hippo-sized tentacled monstrosity with a round toothed mouth and a small skull faintly visible beneath translucent skin.
