The Prize Carousel

the let-the-crawler-choose show

A cheesy game-show segment where a fan-box winner picks one of nine prizes — the vehicle for the cookbook's arrival.

Story so far

The Prize Carousel is the gaudy game-show segment that erupts in the party's base when Carl's Platinum fan box lets viewers vote to let him choose his own prize. Hosted by Chaco amid disco music and a spinning merry-go-round, it offers nine prizes — mystery skill potions, five hundred bombs, Earth books, Carl's father's motorcycle, enchanted chaps, a stat potion, his own toolbox, and two unlabeled books. Fans engineered it to trap Mordecai and Chaco together; Carl, drawn by a glint of light on the anarchy-symbol book, unknowingly chooses the Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook.

Appearance

A large spinning merry-go-round carousel of blinking lights and colorful curtains that materializes in the base, prizes revealed one by one behind falling drapes.
