character

Chaco

Chaco the Bard · the Prize Carousel host · the wolf-headed bard

A winged, wolf-headed song-bard who hosts the Prize Carousel — and the target of Mordecai's murderous grudge.

Story so far

Chaco is the NPC "dungeon darling" who materializes to host Carl's Prize Carousel on The Iron Tangle. Viewers trolled the vote precisely to force him into a room with Mordecai, who instantly hurls a chair at him — earning Mordecai a seven-day "Naughty" banishment. A trembling Chaco reveals a buried history: hundreds of cycles ago he did something terrible to Mordecai on his manager's orders, something that would otherwise have killed Mordecai and cost them all Odette.

Guilt-ridden and self-loathing, he begs forgiveness before vanishing.

Appearance

A muscular, winged, wolf-headed man about six feet tall, wearing a garish brown-and-orange checkered leisure suit, with sharp teeth and clawed hands.

Role

NPC game-show host and the key to Mordecai's hidden backstory.

Relationships

Mordecai — The manager who hates him enough to attack on sight over an ancient betrayal.
Odette — The figure whose survival his old act preserved, tying him to Mordecai's past.
