Banger Spheres

Baseball-sized balls of dwarven robot scrap Carl mass-produces as xistera ammunition.

Story so far

Banger Spheres are Carl's home-made projectiles for his xistera, forged at his engineering table from the scrap metal of the dwarven robots he blew up. He experimented with several sizes before settling on baseball-sized balls; the System only auto-names them "Banger Spheres" at that exact size, and he stockpiled a few hundred. Hurled from the xistera's curved throwing arm, one strikes a babababoon in the neck with an audible splack and kills it outright, though Carl grumbles he was aiming between the eyes.

He has further designs in mind, including spiked variants, that he hasn't yet had time to build.

Appearance

Baseball-sized spheres of dull, salvaged dwarven-automaton scrap metal, plain and heavy.

Role

Carl's improvised ranged ammunition, letting him snipe mobs at platform range.

Relationships

Carl — Crafts and throws them from his xistera.
Dwarven Automaton — The scrapped robots whose metal is their raw material.
